Race
Location & Time
The race will begin at Peace Park, near the corner of 8th &
Elm, on the University of Missouri campus at 8:00 am on Sunday,
October 5, 2008.
Course
The course goes
through the Columbia campus and also use the MU Recreation and Grindstone
Nature area trails. Walkers are welcome.

Timing
This race will be chip-timed. Timing chips will be available on race
morning, so please arrive at least one hour early. Race results will
be posted on the
Results page within
72 hours after the race.
Awards, etc.
Each participant will receive a tshirt and a goodie bag. Individual
half-marathon participants will each receive a medal upon finishing
the race. Overall male, overall female, and the first three males
and females in the following age categories: 14 and under, 15-19,
20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64,
65-69, and 70 and up.
After the Race
Please stay after the race for the awards ceremony (beginning at approximately 10:30 am) and a post-race meal. Friends and family members can also eat for $5. In addition to drawings for door prizes there will be free massages available for race participants.
Packet
Pick-up
NOTICE: Packet Pickup location has changed to
Wilson's North - 203 Leslie Lane, 65202. The corner of North
Providence and Vandiver.
The time is
10:00 am - 6:00 pm on Saturday, October 4th.
Packets can be picked up the Saturday (October 4th) before the race
from 10 am to 6 pm
at
Wilson's South (2902 Forum
Blvd.).
Although not recommended, packets can also
be picked beginning at 7 am on race day, but please arrive extra early.
Accommodations
For those traveling to Columbia
there are many hotel options. The 2 closest are
Regency Downtown
(0.5 miles from start) and
Hampton Inn (at the University of Missouri) (1.5 miles
